The new Red Sea Max S-400 is the latest addition to the popular Red Sea Max range of complete marine aquarium kits. The Max S-400 is the current range-topper and holds a whopping 400 litres of water, making it one of the largest off-the-shelf marine aquarium kits on the market today. The new MAX S series makes reef-keeping easier than ever before.

The MAX S series brings together all of the systems and components required to support a thriving coral reef aquarium with even the most delicate corals, while maintaining an overall elegant and modern look. The Red Sea Max S series are defined by their open top, super clear glass aquarium and in-cabinet sump.

Full Coral Reef Spec lighting, filtration and circulation, and a centralised control panel and an integrated freshwater top-up system are all housed in a beautiful aquarium and cabinet.

The Aquarium:

The tank is made from 12mm clear glass.

Skimmers:

Built in surface skimmer on full width of aquarium  and the Red Sea REEFER Skimmer PSK-600 

Filitration sump:

Glass sump with preparation for auxiliary reactors or refugium. 

Filtration:

The reef filtration system starts with the surface skimmer that feeds water via a downpipe to the sump. The aquarium has a surface skimmer along the entire rear wall and a discreet rear chamber housing pumps and downpipe to the in-cabinet sump. The filtered water is returned to the tank by a main system pump that also supplies water to all of the filtration system, such as the protein skimmer and optional chiller. Cabinet: The aquarium is supported by a marine spec aluminium frame. 

Max-S series features:

• The painted MDF panels aren’t load bearing so they can be replaced at any time to allow a colour change.
• One plug system Like the other models in the Red Sea Max range, the S-400 includes an integrated power control centre and includes easy access to 10 switched power sockets for the pumps, heaters, skimmer, reactors and lighting. It runs from just a single plug.
• Open-topped. The Max S-series aquariums are open-topped, which means Red Sea have been able to pack in upgradeable “reef spec” lighting via over-tank luminaires and there’s less risk of the water surface getting too hot.
• There’s a compartment beneath to house an optional chiller.
• Integrated top-up system. To help keep the tank’s evaporational losses topped-up with freshwater, maintaining the salinity and a constant stable level, there’s an integrated automatic top-up system.
• Customisable cabinet. The solid cabinet features a coloured trim which is resistant to salt water and comes in six different body colours. The trims and the cabinet colour can be customised in no fewer than 36 colour combinations, so you can change them to match your decor, or change them when you redecorate.

Red Sea Aquatics UK Ltd do not hold stocks of S-Series Aquariums in the UK, neither do any of their dealerships. All Red Sea S-Series Aquariums are delivered from their warehouse in France. Red Sea Aquatics UK Ltd manufacturer each UK S-Series Aquarium to order, with each aquarium being custom built. For us to secure the build of your aquarium we must pay Red Sea Aquatics UK Ltd a £300 non refundable deposit at which point your aquarium will be made  and boxed ready for delivery to your delivery address.  We pay this to Red Sea Aquatics UK Ltd 24 hours after you have placed your aquarium order with ourselves. If you cancel your order after 24 hours of making your order you will receive a refund for the amount you have paid less the £300 Red Sea Aquatics UK Ltd required to secure your S-Series aquarium.
